As June approaches every year, our entire program gears up for one of the most exciting days of the year - the day when some of our players will hopefully take the next major step towards reaching the dream of being some day playing professional baseball. The first major step towards that goal is being drafted by a major league baseball team. Team Ontario has been fortunate over the last two years to have ten players from our program drafted in the annual Major League Baseball Amateur Entry Draft. Of those, three have signed and are playing professional baseball today, while the rest are all pursuing U.S. College careers with hopes of being drafted again in the future.
