15U offence explode for 16 runs against Mets

by Jason Booth

Sunday's doubleheader against the Toronto Mets saw the 15U Astros bats come alive in game two as they hit their way to victory, outlasting the Mets 16-10.

Bradley Stoner led the way going 3-for-3 with two RBI's while Matthew Marsh and Darcy Carter each picked up a pair of hits, also combining for 6 RBI's. Lucas Trivedi played a big role as well, reaching base three times, going 1-for-2 with two walks and two RBI's.

Don't let the score fool you either as their were some good performances on the pitching side of things as well. Luke Glenn went four innings, allowing just two runs while racking up six strikeouts.
