2020 Grad Noah Murciano Commits to Coppin State University

by Jason Booth

2020 Team Ontario graduate Noah Murciano has announced his commitment to Coppin State University, an NCAA Division I program in Baltimore, Maryland. Murciano will join the Eagles following one more year at Sussex County Community College.

The Coppin State competes in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) with seven other teams from Delaware, down the coast to Florida.

The former Team Ontario catcher will look to make an immediate impact on the Eagles program after a successful first college campaign with the Skylanders at the junior college level.

Murciano batted .340 with a .407 OBP as a freshman at Sussex County in 2021 and was named to the First Team All-GSAC as a catcher. He will look to be a leader on the Skylanders this upcoming spring before he heads to the Division I ranks for his final two collegiate seasons.

Murciano's skill and work ethic was evident throughout his time with Team Ontario and it's no surprise to watch him continue moving on up the ladder in college baseball. He bought into all of our college prep work and is now finding success at that level.

The entire organization is extremely happy for you and your family, Noah, and we look forward to watching you continue to move forward in your baseball career!
