Brannon commits to Antelope Valley College

by Jason Booth

2022 outfielder Brett Brannon (Whitby, Ont./Donald A. Wilson SS) has announced his commitment to Antelope Valley College, a CCCAA program in Lancaster, California.

Antelope Valley competes in the South Division of the Western State Conference (WSC) of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA). He will play alongside current teammate Evan MacFadden who also committed to Antelope Valley and the pair will square off against fellow 2022 grads, David King and Aaron McLeod-Smith who will play in the same conference with Ventura College.

Brannon has been a major part of our organization over the past several seasons and his left-handed bat was a key piece to our 16U team's success in 2021. He carried his success from the summer into the fall where he had the chance to go up against college arms.

The College Prep Grey outfielder didn't look out of place while up against college programs and on the same trip, he helped Team Ontario earn a PG Fall Championship in Georgia!

"His hard work and dedication was evident since he joined Team Ontario. He's not one to skip practice and is always looking to ask questions and get more work in," says Team Ontario President, Jason Booth. "That same approach will be huge for Brannon as he heads West this fall to join the Marauders program in California."

Our entire program is excited for Brannon and this opportunity and we could not be more excited to see him play college baseball. Hopefully there's a live stream on the West Coast if the MacFadden and Brannon square up against McLeod-Smith and King.

Congratulations to Brett and his family on this amazing achievement!
