Dylan Cardoso commits to Humber College

by Jason Booth

2021 right-handed pitcher Dylan Cardoso has announced his commitment to Humber College, an OCAA program in Toronto, Ontario.

Cardoso will study firefighting during his time at Humber and he joins a baseball program with a rich history of success at the Ontario collegiate level. Humber College claimed the OCAA championship back in 2018 as well as the NCBC National Championship. They followed it up the next season, 2019, with another OCAA Championship while losing in the NCBC National Bronze Medal Game.

"Humber will be a great place for Cardoso to get his education as a firefighter, but also to get a great collegiate baseball experience playing for one of Ontario's, and even one of Canada's, most premiere baseball programs," says Cam Black-Araujo, Team Ontario's Director of Media who also spent some time in the OCAA.

Cardoso is a veteran within the program and his hard work is paying off as he will have a chance to join the Hawks program and make an immediate contribution to the pitching staff.

Team Ontario would like to congratulate Cardoso on this accomplishment and we look forward to watching him in our own backyard.
