Welcome Former OSU, Western OK, Glenn Oaks, Overseas Pro/ National Team Coach J Osborne

Team Ontario Baseball is excited to announce the hiring and welcome J Osborne. The former US College, German and France national and professional teams coach will be joining 17u coaching staff and off season instructor. Coach Osborne has a rich and impressive baseball background at many high levels of baseball.

Osborne's coaching career started in 1995 as an Assistant Coach at NCAA D1 Oklahoma State University. During his time there, he was apart of a coaching staff that lead the team to a NCAA D1 World Series appearance in Omaha. He later took a assistant coach and recruiting coordinator position at NJCAA D2 Western Oklahoma State College and from there accepted a assistant coach and recruiting coordinator position at Glenn Oaks College in Michigan. 


Coach Osborne in the 2000's got the opportunity to move his coaching career to the next level of overseas professional baseball. Osborne was hired as the Head Coach of Montpellier Barracudas Professional Baseball club in France. From there he also became the Head coach of the French National Team. During that time in France Osborne also spent a lot of time responsible for grassroots player and coaches development. After his time France, Osborne received and took advantage of a better opportunity in Germany. He accepted a head coach position with German Bundes Liga and Director of Pitching with the German National Team. 

Osborne's playing Career was also very impressive attending NJCAA D1 Connors State College in Warner Oklahoma where he was an academic All American as Sophomore. From Connors he moved onto Wayland Baptist University in Texas. He earned 2nd Team All Conference Honors and G.T.E. Academic All District Honors.
