Graeham Luttor signs pro contract in German Bundesliga

by Jason Booth

Team Ontario alumni and 2016 grad, Graeham Luttor, has signed a pro contract with the Ennepetal Racoons of the German Bundesliga.

Luttor established himself early on at Midway University hitting seven bombs as a freshman in 2018 to go along with 13 doubles and a .324/.433/.568 slash line. The power hitting first baseman continued to progress and develop during his time with the Eagles and really thrived in 2020 when he received honours from the Canadian Baseball Network on the Second Team All-Canadian.

Although the 2020 season was shortened due to COVID-19, the Toronto native slashed .317/.474/.600 with four home runs and five doubles.

Luttor finished up his college career earlier this month for the Midway Eagles and throughout his four years he amassed 130 hits, 23 home runs, 29 doubles, 101 runs scored, 115 RBI and 71 walks over 140 total games.

Team Ontario looks forward to following Graeham throughout his pro career in Europe.
