Heu commits to McCook CC
2022 right-handed pitcher Ryan Heu has announced his commitment to McCook Community College, an NJCAA DI program in McCook, Nebraska.
The McCook program has taken in several Canadians over the years, including three on the roster this year, as well as Nova Scotia native Jake Sanford back in 2017 and 2018 who was drafted by the Yankees. McCook is currently 14-14 in Region IX play this year, good for fourth in the Region.

When Heu joined the program, he already had the makings and projection of a good college arm. He's continued to develop into the arm we envisioned as the velocity has continued to trend upwards even into the early spring here. With looks from several different schools over the past few months, Heu has found his home for the next two years in McCook, Nebraska.
He will join a competitive Division I conference and begin working towards his next goal of joining a four-year program. After watching Heu work and progress towards the college level, we have no doubt in our minds that he will continue reaching his goals in the baseball world.
Our staff would like to congratulate Ryan and his family on his commitment and look forward to following him throughout the next step in his baseball career.
