Team Ontario's Chris Komljanec commits to York University 

Team Ontario's Chris Komljanec commits to York University (OUA) to continue his academic and athletic career. The Lions have made great steps in recruiting strong players in order to rebuild their baseball program and brand after a short hiatus in 2017. York U is an excellent fit for Komljanec, allowing him the opportunity to pitch and contribute offensively. 

Komljanec is currently an OF and RHP for our 17U club. He has shown outstanding command on the mound - not only filling up the strike zone but spotting up with a fastball, change up and curve ball. Relaxed effort, along with free and easy arm mechanics, yields great dual plane movement on his fastball. His sinking fastball should lead Komljanec to become a true ground ball pitcher at the next level. Komljanec’s work ethic has helped him improve his lower half explosiveness on the mound , increased bat speed, exit velocity and launch angle.
