Langley commits to USC - Lancaster

by Jason Booth

Team Ontario 2022 right-handed pitcher Brandon Langley has announced his commitment to USC - Lancaster, a DI NJCAA program in Lancaster, South Carolina.

Langley joined the program this past year all the way from P.E.I and quickly fit in with our upperclass college prep team's. He quickly established himself as an exciting arm within the program and proved he can pitch at the college level with a good showing on our College Fall Tour.

The big 6-foot-4, 210-pound right-hander joins a USC - Lancaster program that has been extremely successful since 2013, going 252-176 during that span. The Lancers compete out of Region 10 which has proven to provide high quality baseball at the Division I junior college level.

The Lancers will provide a great opportunity for Langley to continue developing over the next two years before re-evaluating his options. This one feels special to our program after having Langley join us from the East Coast.

He quickly became a part of the Team Ontario family and was a vital part of our College Fall Tour. Not only did he pitch well throughout both tournaments and on the mound against college opponents, but he also served as a leader to some of the younger players on the trip.

Our staff is confident in the talent he possesses and we look forward to watching him take the mound in South Carolina.
