MacFadden commits to Antelope Valley College

by Jason Booth

2022 right-handed pitcher Evan MacFadden has announced his commitment to Antelope Valley College, a CCCAA program in Lancaster, California.

Antelope Valley competes in the South Division of the Western State Conference (WSC) of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA). He will compete against fellow 2022 Team Ontario grads Aaron McLeod-Smith and David King who will play for Ventura College next year in the WSC's North Division.

MacFadden had a strong summer as Team Ontario returned to the field and really took his game to the next level. His fastball sat 85-87 and he racked up the strikeouts during CPBL action for our 16U squad.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-hander carried that momentum into the fall and proved to be a reliable throughout our Fall Tour. He was a key piece to Team Ontario's Perfect Game Tournament Championship in Atlanta.

After his showing in 2021, it's no surprise to see MacFadden heading to Antelope Valley College and one of the hotbed states for junior college baseball.

The entire organization is extremely proud of Evan and all the hard work he has poured into the program the past several years and look forward to following his college career.
