Michael Malinowski commits to Bay College

by Jason Booth

18U catcher/RHP Michael Malinowski has announced his commitment to Bay College, a Division II NJCAA program in Escanaba, Michigan.

Bay College competes in Region 13 and the team has a strong history of having international players carry the program as the team rostered players this year from Montreal, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Germany, Israel and Australia.

Malinowski's hard work and buy-in on both sides of the ball have really helped him develop into a college ready player. He has a strong arm behind the dish and continues to barrel baseballs and show his power at the plate.

His versatility and ability to play multiple positions have allowed him to continue growing as a baseball player.

"Malinowski has worked extremely hard to continue growing as a player and despite all the challenges this past year, he was able to achieve his goal of playing college baseball in the U.S.," says Jason Booth. "We're all proud of Michael and look forward to seeing him join the NJCAA ranks."

As previously mentioned, Malinowski's versatility will allow him more opportunities to get into the Norse's lineup this upcoming season as a freshman.

Everyone at Team Ontario would like to congratulate Malinowski on this accomplishment and wish him the best at Bay College!
