Noah MacDonald commits to Bethesda University

by Jason Booth

2021 infielder Noah MacDonald has announced his commitment to Bethesda University, an NAIA program in Anaheim, California.

MacDonald, an Orangeville native, will join his current teammate Jaylen Wood at Bethesda, something he says he's really looking forward to.

"I'm hoping Jaylen and I can go in and help them bring home some wins," says the 5-foot-10 middle infielder. "I'm hoping Jaylen and I can come in and have an immediate impact on the program and in addition to that, I'm just really happy about going out to California."

MacDonald has been a key piece to the organization with his versatility on the infield and ability to spray the ball all over the field. He's worked hard to be ready to contribute once he reaches the collegiate level and he says that's part of the reason he chose to join the Flames.

"I chose to go to Bethesda because it gives me a good chance to go in and make an immediate impact on the program," added MacDonald. "This past season wasn't the best for them so I'm hoping Jaylen and I can go and chip in right away."

Team Ontario wishes Noah the best of success during his time in Anaheim and look forward to following him and Jaylen over the next four seasons.
