Sullivan commits to Muskingum University

by Jason Booth

2022 right-handed pitcher Sheadon Sullivan has announced his commitment to Muskingum University, an NCAA Division III program in New Concord, Ohio.

The Fighting Muskies compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) that is made up exclusively of universities from Ohio. This opportunity offers Sullivan a great opportunity to play quality baseball at the NCAA level while getting an education from a great academic school.

Sullivan will look to compete for innings next year as a freshman and should have some confidence in doing so after putting together one of the best performances this fall against college programs. On the final day of our Fall Trip, Sullivan pitched four innings of shutout baseball against Aquinas University en route to the team's first win over a college program throughout the trip.

The 6-foot-2, 165-pound right-hander has long had the ability to throw all of his pitches for strikes and with his projectable frame, you can expect to see the velocity continue ticking upwards throughout his college career.

"Sullivan proved to be one of the more reliable arms on the College Prep Orange team throughout the Fall Trip, putting up a great complete game performance in the Wood Bat National Championships to go along with four sharp innings against Aquinas," says Cam Black-Araujo. "His ability to pound the strike zone will benefit him early on as he establishes himself with the Fighting Muskies program."

Team Ontario's staff would like to congratulate Sheadon on this accomplishment and look forward to highlighting his college baseball journey.
