Swartz promoted to Asst. General Manager

by Jason Booth

As we finalize our front office and begin gearing up for 2021, we are pleased to announce the promotion of pitching instructor, Myles Swartz, to assistant general manager.

"Myles has been with the organization for quite some time now and his presence has made a huge impact throughout my first year with the organization," says general manager, Jon Carson. "I'm confident Myles will play a significant role in helping our organization reach our goals moving forward as we continue developing and placing some of the best players this province has to offer."

Swartz will continue working with our pitchers but will take on some additional roles within baseball operations. The Thornhill, Ont. native will assist GM Carson with everything from college placements, to the day-to-day operations of the organization as we continue to prepare for an exciting 2021 campaign.

Prior to joining the Team O staff in 2013, Swartz spent two years as a right-hander with Macomb Community College in Michigan as well as two years with Salem International University in West Virginia.

Myles has done some tremendous work during his time with Team Ontario and we are certain he will keep the organization heading in the right direction as he takes on this additional role!
