Team Ontario Baseball is excited to announce and welcome NCAA D3 National Champion and certified personal trainer Dean Angelo to the Team O coaching staff.

Dean is a 2015 Team Ontario grad. He received scholarship opportunities at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas as a Catcher and Pitcher. In  2016 was a member of their NCAA D3 National Championship run. Before his college career was a member of the 2014 Ontario Youth Team Representing Ontario in the Canada Cup. Then also 2015 received Under Armour Preseason All American Honors.

Dean will be joining our current 17U coaching staff for duration of this season, while also taking on a role in the weight room as one of our Strength and Conditioning trainers. He has a history in strength and conditioning working in a personal trainer with multiple clients at gyms all over the GTA. In 2020-2021 season we will have multiple certified trainers in order to build college baseball bodies while tracking, spotting, teaching and monitoring form and progressions. Dean and other strength trainers (to be announced) will hold our athletes accountable while creating an atmosphere to push them to get better while keeping them safe and healthy. On top of the strength and conditioning Dean will also be helping our current catching trainers in instructing and developing our catchers through the fall and season.
