Team Ontario 17U LHP Chris Troyer throws no-hitter for a win in Cincinnati

Team Ontario 17U was amongst three three Team Ontario rosters down in Cincinnati, Ohio for the 17U All-Prospects Showcase hosted by the Flames. 


Team O kicked off the tournament on the other side of town in Covington, Kentucky against the Dayton Classics. Left-hander Chris Troyer took the ball for the start and did not disappoint. 


Troyer was strong off the bump and was in full control of the Classics lineup. He was fluent and consistent through his delivery, and stayed around the zone. Troyer’s command was there and his pitch options were executed brilliantly. 


Troyer trucked 5 innings of work with 0 hits 0 runs 0 earned-runs, 2 walks, and a dominating 8 strikeouts. He finished the game with 68 pitches, 44 strikes.


Troyer completed the game with a no hitter.
