Team Ontario Alumni Report: Week Five

by Jason Booth

It was two familiar faces that led the way among Team Ontario alumni this past week as Drew Nixon and Graeham Luttor put up some stellar numbers for the second straight week. Nixon picked up a double in each of his four games this weekend while Luttor hit a pair of home runs, his first two of the season.

On the pitching side of things, Alex Mackinnon picked up his first save of the season for the Purple Eagles, tossing 2.2 scoreless innings in a 3-1 victory over Siena.

Here's this week's entire list of top performers:

DREW NIXON, JUNIOR, VALLEY  CITY STATE UNIVERSITY (NAIA)

20-for-74 (.270), 8 R, 13 RBI, 2 HR, 9 2B, 7 BB
